About Dorcas
I still remember the exact moment I realized that English wasn't just a set of rules to be memorized: it was a bridge connecting people, ideas, and opportunities. That single realization changed the course of my life and sparked a passion that I now bring to every single one of my classes!
My name is Dorcas, and my lifelong love for words led me to dive deep into the world of academia, where I am currently a Ph.D. scholar in English. For me, true joy is not just in studying language; it is in sharing it. That is why I became a TEFL-certified educator and transformed my screen into a vibrant, high-energy virtual classroom.
For the past two years, I have had the absolute privilege of walking alongside students as they face some of their biggest academic milestones. I have seen the worried faces of students preparing for the UK11+, IGCSE, and the SAT slowly turn into smiles of triumph as we broke down complex topics together. My teaching philosophy is simple: learning should never feel like a chore.
