About Luis Alfonso

I am a Geological Engineer graduated from the National University of Colombia, one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America. Spanish is my native language, and after more than two years of teaching students from different countries and backgrounds, I have developed a personalized methodology that adapts to each student's goals, pace, and learning style.

I started teaching almost by chance, helping friends who wanted to learn the language — and I immediately fell in love with it. As an engineer, I am naturally drawn to problem-solving and clear communication, and teaching is exactly that. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a student go from struggling with basic sentences to speaking with real confidence, and that is what drives me every single day.

My name is Luis Segura, I am a Geological Engineer graduated from the National University of Colombia — one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America — and Spanish is my native language. For over two years, I have been teaching Spanish to students of different levels and backgrounds, and what sets me apart is simple: no two classes are the same.
