About Vira
I have over 5 years of experience tutoring Computer Programming and hold a BSc in Computer Science. I specialise in supporting high school students preparing for IGCSE and A-Level exams. My lessons combine theory, live coding, and hands-on exercises. Students develop confidence and mastery in core topics such as Variables, Loops, Functions, and Object-Oriented Programming. I incorporate past paper exercises and coding challenges to ensure exam readiness. Lessons are structured, paced, and adapted to each student’s learning style. I emphasise logical reasoning, problem-solving, and debugging techniques. Complex coding topics are broken into clear, manageable steps. My teaching methodology focuses on understanding programming concepts through visualisation and practical exercises. Students practise writing, testing, and debugging code regularly. Exercises reinforce problem-solving, computational thinking, and logical reasoning.
