About the lesson

Techniques for Teaching Primary School Math:
1.Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) Approach:
•Concrete: Start with hands-on activities using objects (like blocks, counters, or toys) to help students visualize mathematical concepts.
•Pictorial: Use visual aids like drawings, number lines, and charts to help them transition from concrete items to abstract symbols.
2. Interactive and Hands-On Learning:
• Use math games, puzzles, and real-life objects (coins, rulers, shapes) to teach concepts.
• Encourage group activities and cooperative learning where students can solve problems together.
3. Storytelling and Word Problems:
• Integrate math problems into real-world stories. This helps students understand how math is used in everyday life.
