About Gaby
I am originally from Germany but moved to South Africa in 1973...i am now retired from the hospitality / tourism industry and work and teach as a ceramicist and photographer living close to the beach on the West Coast of South Africa I am passionate about learning about all different cultures and enjoy imparting my language skills plus helping students and business people feel secure and confident in communicating in English.

Teaching Style
speaking slowly with patience, asking them first what subjects their interests are in.
Finding out why and where they will have to be able to converse and by asking them
about their background, special interests and hobbies I can establish what will be important for them.
I like to teach English to intermediate students I would assist in preparation for a job interview. or a business meeting.
Assist in tourism-related incidents/conversations. Making small talk. learning vocabulary in words that sound the same but have different meanings.
Role Playing is also a very good way to become more confident
