About Amber
I am a current 4th year medical student with the University of Auckland, placed in Waikato Hospital this year. I obtained entry to medicine via the first-year biomedical science pathway where I obtained a 9.0 GPA and gained a first-in-class award for BIOSCI 107.
Outside of my degree I am passionate about sports and coaching with over 10 years of involvement in gymnastics as an athlete, coach and judge.
I am passionate about passing my knowledge onto the younger generation and supporting them in becoming successful individuals.

I am a very flexible tutor, with hours and lesson lengths able to be adapted to suit your/your child's needs.
My tutoring methods involve and initial introduction where I gauge where the tutee is at and what their specific needs are before I cater my lessons to optimise our time together. I allow the student to lead their own learning while I provide structure, explanations, practice questions and feedback before supplying additional homework where appropriate.
I love an open-style communication with my students and their parents, where support can be requested/questions asked whenever needed and I will attempt to respond in a timely fashion. This means that my tutee will have constant support even outside of lesson times.
