About Aurora
My name is Aurora Xia. I learned English as a second language but became fluent in 2 years, so I have good experience and advice on how to improve and learn English.
I genuinely love English and reading, and am very willing to help you edit your essays or analyze works of literature.
I also speak Mandarin Chinese at a native level!

My approach as a tutor is to tackle English from an ESL perspective. This means really understanding the structure of the language, with the primary aspects being sound, organization, vocabulary and grammar.
My teachings will be most suitable for those who are learning English as a second language (especially native Chinese-speakers) or looking for reviews of their works/essays.
I have experience with ESL learning, elementary education, high school and IB English, and SAT Preparation.
