About Willy
Teaching a language requires a lot of patience and demands the knowledge of different styles of teaching as well as the ability to pick up on the strengths and weaknesses of each student in order to implement techniques that will best benefit such student. I try my best to be as receptive as possible to the student(s) which I am dedicating my time to. My approach as an instructor is one of respect and adaptation and my philosophy is that the instructor is also a student who is constantly learning from his/her student.

Conversational Spanish can vary from country to country in the way it’s pronounced and sometimes with its vocabulary. For example, Spanish from Spain is pronounced quite differently than Mexican Spanish. I am familiar with both and familiar with various different South American and Central American accents that can vary from country to country. Throughout my life I have met and spoken to people from every Latin-American country and Spain. Also, I am quite knowledgeable of the different types of music from these countries and often use lyrics as a vehicle for teaching Spanish. I try my best to tailor my teaching methods to accommodate the style that best suits the student which I am teaching.
