About Aditi
With over 3 years of experience in tutoring and a Master’s degree in Mathematics (MMath), I bring both depth and passion to my teaching. What drives me most is not just solving equations, but understanding where they came from. I’m deeply fascinated by the history of mathematics and the evolution of mathematical thought. My curiosity has led me to explore the contributions of ancient civilizations—like the Babylonians, Greeks, Indians, and Arabs—to the world of numbers and ideas. I love tracing the origins of famous theorems and the minds behind them. The story of how mathematics grew across centuries helps us see it not just as a subject, but as a human achievement. I often share these stories with my students to show that math is alive with culture, struggle, and insight. Learning about the historical path of concepts like zero, infinity, or calculus adds a whole new dimension to understanding them. My teaching approach in Maths is focused, practical, and results-driven. I guide students through concepts with clarity and connect topics to real-world applications. My sessions cover school and university-level Maths along with test preparation for SAT, GRE, and GMAT. I specialize in areas like Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics. I help students master time management by using targeted drills and realistic timed practice tests. This builds speed, accuracy, and confidence under exam pressure.
We work on common pitfalls—like careless errors or misreading questions—and develop smart strategies to avoid them. Every student learns differently, so I adjust the pace and method based on their needs. I make sure they understand not just how to solve a problem, but why the method works. This builds strong fundamentals.
I also use my knowledge as a Math historian and teacher to explain patterns and the beauty behind formulas. That keeps learning interesting and memorable. My goal is to fully prepare students to walk into the exam room ready and confident. With regular feedback, clear goals, and support at every step, I help them aim high and achieve real results.
