About Ishika

Hello, my name is ishika kumar and I am a painter and art instructor. Painting has been my passion since I was a child, and I have spent my life exploring different techniques, styles, and mediums. Through my artistic journey, I have discovered that painting is more than just a skill - it is a way of seeing and understanding the world.

As an instructor, I strive to share this same passion and understanding with my students. I believe that art has the power to transform not only our physical surroundings, but also our inner selves. Through my teaching, I aim to help my students tap into their own creative potential and find their unique artistic voice.

One of the things that sets me apart as an instructor is my commitment to a holistic approach to art. I believe that painting is not just about mastering a set of technical skills, but about cultivating a deep understanding of the creative process and exploring the connections between art, emotion, and the human experience. I encourage my students to explore their own emotions and experiences through their art, and to use painting as a means of self-discovery and self-expression.

I also believe that the best learning happens in a supportive and collaborative environment. In my classes, I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where students feel free to experiment, take risks, and learn from one another.

Overall, I am committed to helping my students develop not only their painting skills, but also their creativity, confidence, and sense of self. I believe that everyone has the potential to be an artist, and I am excited to help my students discover and cultivate their own unique artistic gifts

About the lesson

Through my teaching, I aim to equip my students with the technical skills needed to create a visually stunning painting. This includes understanding color theory, composition, brush techniques, and more. However, I also emphasize the importance of tapping into one's own unique artistic vision and style, and encourage experimentation and risk taking.

I believe that painting is not just about creating a pretty picture, but about telling a story or expressing a feeling. As such, I encourage my students to consider the message they want to convey through their art, and help them find ways to do so effectively.
